A dedicated film-processing store should have, (or be able to quickly order) photo sensitive fabric. I've only used it in B&W, but I think it is available for colored photos too. After you get the fabric print made, you can sew it onto the quilt. OR you can run the print through your scanner and print onto iron-on paper and transfer it to the fabric of your choice. The latter method will not make as crisp and clear a picture as the first, but it's faster and cheaper.
