We are making a 50th anniversary party for our parent's this coming weekend. We are having a very nice luncheon with mostly family. Are you the one celebrating your 50th or is it for your parents? We bought a poster frame....put my parent's wedding picture in the middle...(had it copied at Office Max) it came out great. Put that in the middle of the frame and put children and grandchildren pictures as well as baby pictures of my parents. All around the main picture is a collage. We will display it on the cake table. As far as the party goes...we will make a speech....we asked people to bring a special or memorable reminder of my parent's to share with everyone. We were thinking of having a mock wedding but decided it would be too complicated. There is no special thing that has to be done for a 5oth.....as far as we know. We scanned the same picture of my parent's and shrunk it to passport size (1" x 1.5") cut it out and placed it on the left side of place cards and it looks special ordered. It is a very nice touch. If anyone has given you some good ideas and you feel you want to pass them on to me....I'd appreciate it. The violet is the flower for 50 years of marriage. Good Luck!!!
