I would call a legal hotline, local attorney, or law department at a nearby college and ask for legal advice. It might be the case that the club is trying to get you to use their DJ or band.

You didn't say whether these are CD's that you burned yourself. If these are just various artists' CD's that you bought, I would really find out from a legal source what gives.
