I'm not sure if you want to do both a money tree and ask people to bring food. My own opionion would be to do one or the other (but of course do what you think is best for your family :). As for order of evening, how about doing some appetizers, have some entertainment, then the entrees, then more entertainment- kind of break it up a little? If you have people who want to say a few words, spread it out so others won't have to listen to a half-hour stretch- it's easier to pay attention for 10 minutes at a time. If you have a big thing (such as all the siblings performing together), you can save that for the end. Good luck!
