As for order of evening, how about doing some appetizers, have some entertainment, then the entrees, then more entertainment- kind of break it up a little? If you have people who want to say a few words, spread it out so others won't have to listen to a half-hour stretch- it's easier to pay attention for 10 minutes at a time. If you have a big thing (such as all the siblings performing together), you can save that for the end. Good luck!
