Things I forgot to mention:

Make a list of who is going to do what and who is going to cook whatever. Call these people 3 to 5 days in advance to double check with them. People do get in a hurry and forget - not meaning to forget.

Make a list of everyone you would like to invite. Include uncles and aunts. We invited around 150 and had around 55 to show. I am counting out of state guest that we invited knowing they would not be able to make it but did invite them so no one's feeling's were hurt!!!

After addressing their envelope or even calling - mark their name off of the list immediately so you won't send two invitations to one person.

Set mints and nuts on table for after dinner. I ordered test-a-mints from Oriental Trading which was a hit with the church people. They have bible versus on the wrapper. I also suggest werther's original candy - they are wrapped in gold. Everyone does enjoy this candy. Trust me you will not have much of this left.

Anyway, we invited around 150 guests and cooked for 75. It is always good to have to much and not enough. If it hadn't been for my 3 aunts, two cousins, and a sister-in-law, we would have had to have had everyhting catered. That runs into alot of money!

Good Luck!!!
