Can they stay in a room long enough for the picture? Forget the party....let the individual families do something...but if they have a picture of you all that might help. We had the exact same problem with my husbands Mom's 70th birthday. All she wanted was everyone together. The family wouldn't even agree upon a picture (so don't feel bad!). We opted to get her sister and brother together....nephews and nieces...the sons that spoke to each other and got along. All others were left on their own to do something for her if they chose. She enjoyed the party with those that got along. I suppose a part of her still yearned for a real "family" gathering but the party was great fun!
