Wow! Looks like a lot of 50th anniversaries are being planned for 2000. My mother "says" she doesn't want a "big" party, but she must be kidding me. I thought your 50th was to be a "Huge" celebation, and that's what I would like to do for them. For some reason my mother doesn't want their announcement in the church bulletin or the local newspapers. Is this strange?? Any feedback on why she might be feeling this way about this up coming event? I want to discuss my plans with her and respect her wishes, but, we have to celebrate this occasion. There are 5 adult children and we can split the cost of the party. Any suggestions????? Date of anniversary is August 19, 2000.
