I don't think balloons on the table would be tacky with confetti. I found confetti that was especially for 50th wedding anniversarys. I only had one table with the cake (that I had made like their wedding cake) as a centerpiece and the finger food around it. I included framed pictures from their wedding album. I had them photocopied at Kinkos. By each picture, there were three, I had a votive candle in a glass holder. The colors I used were my parents wedding colors which were green and white. So I had a green candle, a white candle and a gold candle. As the guest went around to get their food I noticed how the pictures made a good point of interest. Have fun getting planning it. It has been a very special memory not only for my parent but for me also.
