50th anniversary--card party only--please help

Please help--We are trying to plan a small get together
for my husbands parents 50th anniversary. Unfortunately no one lives anywhere near us or his
parents so we are planning a surprise card party for
them. We plan to take them to a nice restaurant and
have cake and decorations and since no one lives around
here, we want to be able to have atleast lots of cards
full of well wishes for them to open. It is a surprise.
I need help making up an invitation that would get
relatives to send letters and cards to us before the
anniversary. Any suggestions????
