Parents 40th Wedding AnniversaryPosted by Rhonda on October 31, 1999 at 15:57:46: Last October, put on a great one. One thing I did was gather 120 photos from my parents books and my own collection, and my only brother's collection; then started out with their dating years put them in order, wedding, babies, children growing up, children's weddings, grandchildren all the way to present photos of family and close friends. Took these and made a video and put it to background music to the era (in this case, 50's music, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. The cost of this was $75.00 to have it done and it was our gift to my parents (besides the party we gave them). You couldn't have seen a dry eye in the place! Another thing I did was cut out various pictures of the past with paper shears (decorative edgeing), and place them on tablecloth with scattered confetti and place a $2.00 clear plastic piece over the top and used this as the punch table. Also asked various people to write antitotes and memories on paper and placed them in between the photos.
