Proper Wording On 50th Anniversary Invitation

We are hosting my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Party in Feb. 2001. We are planning a party with approx 250-300 people. It will be a formal event. We have a large family with a lot of small children and babies. With some many people and a good percentage of senior citizens we are worried that small children may be out of place. Is there a tactful way to include on the invitation that children are not invited?
