We are planning a 40th anniversary party for my in-laws. We expect about 30 people. Thing seem under control, but we were wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what to do at dinner. We will be having coctails before, start the dinner with at toast, and retreat to a social in a hotel suite after. But there was a 40th anniversary party in the family last year where, after dinner, they showed slides. We don't want to duplicate that. What are some other things we could do right after dinner, before cutting the cake, for instance. (we are already planning to have lots of photos on hand--ideas we got from this site!)
