My sister and I are planning a surprise 25th anniversary party for my parents. They were married in 1978 so we're having a Studio 54 theme. We've arranged for the lighting and music and everything like that, the house will basically be a disco club, but I just realized that there isn't really anything special relating to their anniversary. It's really not a formal occasion, so a speech or poem really isn't appropriate. I've got some pictures from the wedding but other than that... also all of the friends they had from around the time they were married all live all over the place and will not be attending the party, it is all new friends. So nobody really has any stories to tell...
I'm also stuck with how to entertain these people. I'm worried mingling won't be enough, and although is it a club theme, I can't see a lot of them dancing. I would like to have some sort of activity, but not something that everyone has to participate in. All of the games I've found have been a little too organized. I would rather have kind of a game going all through the party than a sit down and play now game. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Kathryn
