Well, the traditional gift for the 1st anniversary is paper. That could be a book or a stock certificate or movie coupons. Or how about a gift certificate for a get-away weekend together. Find a Bed and Breakfast in a romantic location with a hottub and a fireplace and some great food and kidnap him from work.
