Others often jump in and make toasts of their own and no one will mind that you did not make a speech. OR you canput a little thank you for coming note on the place cards. OR you could just qickly thank everyone for comming and get on with it. Or, you could make a little speech about how much you love them and congradulating them before the party ON TAPE, in the privacy of your bedroom so it comes up as an introduction to the VCR tape of the event. Frankly, when I've gone to these things, I have often wished they would have elected to not have speaches at all.
