Anita, We are having our parents' 50th on December 6th so this is what we are doing. For centerpieces we are doing clear dish gardens (a squatty wide bowl) that will have floating candles in them. Around that will be Fir garland with gold pinecones and red berries in it. We had thought of doing 18" Christmas trees for the centerpieces with gold beads and Red roses (which makes it look Victorian) but decided against it because of the heighth issue. We wanted people to see over the centerpiece to be able to talk. We had also thought of doing Red Poinsettias, but Mom's favorite flower is the Rose, so any flowers we use will be those. Michael's Craft store has all their Christmas decorations in so go look around and ideas will come to you I'm sure. Good luck and keep us posted with the details. Mary Lynn
