My parents are also celebrating their 50th
in December.. Christmas Eve to be exact! Because
this is such a hectic time of year and we have
many out of state relatives, my parents decided
they would rather celebrate on Oct. 21. We are
trying to infuse a little Christmas into the

is Dec.24th! We are keeping it simple with
centerpieces made with gold candles, some greenery,
gold painted pinecones and little red berries.
We are also putting a small Christmas tree on the
photo/registry table.
(We are having a catered buffet dinner for 175.)
If you are planning to send requests for memory
submissions, you could send those out early (kind
of a "save the date" thing) and then send your
actual invitations closer to the party date so
people don't forget.
