When my sister and I made one for our parents, we sent everyone a page with a decorative border for them to write their memory on. The border kept everything inside that space so we could trim the pages to fit our scrapbook. Some people wrote on the back too, so we zeroxed that and made a 2 page spread. We did the same when they included photographs.

We divided the memories into high school friends, and those from the various places they lived. We made a fancy title page for each section. My mother had a collection of lace doillies, so we used one of them on each title page.

We started sending out the memory pages, along with a cover letter two months before the party.
