On December 23, 2000 - my parents will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary and we (my siblings) will be giving them a party.

I am interested in finding out were to get Hershey bar's and kisses wrapped in gold, invitations to guest - suprise party, etc.

We are worried that it being Christmas time that people will forget about the party if invitations are sent out to early. We are planning to have our event on Dec. 22, 2000! Since Dec. 22, is a Friday would 6:00 PM be to early or should we move it to 7:00 PM?

We are planning to have some of the food catered and having family members and close friends bring covered dishes. We are also having them a three tier cake.

What other colors would go good with gold - maybe since it is Christmas time - should I use Christmas colors?
