Would like your thoughts on a party favor idea for a 50th Anniversary Party for about 150 people. Those from the South I'm sure will know what 'Pralines' are. For others, it is a round thick disk shaped creamy candy with pecans about the size of baseball maybe alittle bigger. My parents lived in Mississippi for a few years after they were married because my Dad was stationed there during his Airforce career. There was a little candy shop nearby that they (Mom mostly) would go to and buy these delicious praline candies. I thought of a 'Praline' wrapped in toulle with ribbon and note card attached, might be a good idea from the past for them to have for their guests. All family and friends and the party it self, will be up in the New England area, and I wasn't sure if any of the guests would really know what the favor was, being they are all northerners, so maybe 'Pralines' may not be such a good idea....for they might not know what they are. What do you all think? I wanted something unique, but yet nice.
