Are you planning on renting a hall? doing it at home? indoors or out?

The Korean War and the McCarthy investigations consumed the news in 1950. But it was also the year that Ray Bradbury wrote "The Martian Cronicles" and Thor Heyerdahl wrote, "Kon-Tiki".
At the movies, it was "Sunset Boulevard" and "All About Eve"

Some popular songs released that year were, "If I kenw You Were Comin', I'd've baked a Cake", A Bushel and a Peck", "C'est Si Bon" and "Music, Music, Music". Icons of the 50"s didn't come along until the mid 50's (Bill Haley and the Commets, 1955, Elvis Prestley in 1956 andRock and Roll Swing, aka the Bop, did not gain popularity until 1956.. Poodle skirts and Beatnics started showing up in 1958.
