We are having an open house BBQ for my parent's 50th. They are not "formal" people, and a BBQ was just the thing. It will be outdoors with canopies in case of rain. We will be playing music from their own collection. My brother's and sister's and I have been putting together a list of "50 things our parents told us", and we will be interspersing them through out the day. We also will have a picture board set up with pictures from different parts of their lives. Starting with their baby pictures, on up to their great grandchildren. We also have a photo album set up with trivia questions such as: What year was this picture? and What are these people doing? and Does anyone recognize these people? Of couse, a beautiful cake, and a toast by the best man will be included! The Anniversary party is being held in conjuction with a family reunion that is lasting the whole weekend.
