I have a delima and need some advice. My parents want to an open invitatation to the members of their church for their anniversary party (which my brother, sister and I are paying for). However, there are 1500 members of their church and they are well liked and close to many people. I am willing to do this, however, I would like to request that anyone planning on attending their party RSVP to me. Is that permisable according to etiquette? Guests who don't attend their church are being asked to RSVP.
