When my folks had their 50th, they lived about 150 miles from me. On one of my weekends with them about 6 month ahead, I arranged flowers, cake, restaurant, and a couple of old friends to take care of other details there. The weekend of the party, I drove my camper over full of stuff and spent Friday putting it together. Some of my mom's freinds met me at the restaurant and put things in place.
