My In-laws hosted their Golden Anniversary party over two days. Since they have 8 children, 48 grandchildren, and loads of other relatives, one of the days was spent at the local amusement park. They rented a pavillion there, for the base of operations. Everyone brought assigned picnic foods, and we met for lunch to eat and count noses. This was very relaxed, and even the smallest children had a blast celebrating.
