Are you sure they will want gifts? Most often, they request that their be no gifts. Ofcours, being family... I can understand.
How about a letter or poem.. 50 memories I have of you or 50 reasons I'm glad you're in my family, etc. You could print it on special paper, include a small photo of yourself and then put it in a gold frame.
