Hi Cathy, We too are celebrating my parent's 50th at the end of June. One idea someone told me about for decoration is to make a screen so to speak. A three section trellis type screen(for lack of a better word). We will paint this white and drape it with tulle and white flowers along the top--then we will hang various pictures-all framed in white--on it. We will hang my Mother's wedding dress in the center. We are considering making the invites ourselves--maybe with their wedding pic scanned on it and then covered in vellum with the info printed on that. Goddluck.
