Here's what we're doing for my parents 50th: Invitations have already gone out. Inside was a request for a "fond memory" to be sent back and placed in a Memories Book. We've gathered pictures from over the years to place in the book as well. I'm working on a "Look Back" at the year 1952 that will list top headlines for that date, as well as top songs, books, movies, actors, etc. Also, it will list prices for things ranging from a loaf of bread to a house. I'll put this on gold card stock folded in half, so it opens up to the information. On the outside, it will say "Did You Know..." We will place 2-3 at each table. Party favors will be small champagne glasses with 2-3 gold-wrapped Hershey's Almond Kisses inside, covered with gold netting and tied with ribbon and a tag that says parents' names and wedding date. We're also having their wedding picture blown up to poster size and this will be placed on a stand outside the door to the hall along with guest sign-in book. Just a few ideas...
