My Parents' 60th is in June; we nine children are planning a luncheon at the Church, a reception at a local lodge to which they belong, and a dance as well. We have lined up a photographer for family, multigenerational pictures. I saw on a TLC or H&G TV shows some ideas for decorations. Glass block tiles, mirrors, chandelier crystals, clear glass plates, rock candy, and opalescent glass marbles (the flattened ones) and then adding candles and flowers. We also are struggling with colors. The cake decorator suggested we take off on whatever Mom is wearing--I like the idea of iridescent--since diamonds and crystal leave rainbows where they sparkle. Let me know how your plans are coming.
