We are doing a memory book for my inlaws upcoming 50th in August and I am in the process of sending out letters asking others to share a memory of them and include a photo if available. Like others, I will reprint on nice paper, and make a MEMORY BOOK including some poems and special other added touches periodically throughout. I will make a NICE cover for it, have it laminated then have it all bound together. I think this will be the most appreciated gift any of us will be able to give them. I also thought of an idea to have several family members take a few of the funny/touching ones and read them at the celebration, excluding names, and see if my inlaws can guess who the memory is regarding. Good luck to you, I am sure it will be a hit.
