Hi. I'm planning a 40th anniversary for my parents. I've gotten alot of ideas here. We're not doing anything with Italian heritage but maybe you can use some ideas and modify them. First, I'm doing a memory table when people walk in. On display will be a memory book I'm putting together, a display board with some pictures and an anniversary poem in the middle, my parent's cake top,my brother found, next to a picture of my parents in front of their cake at the wedding, thier wedding album, a laminated copy of a fact sheet from 1961. I will sprinkle anniversary confetti all over the table. I bought a nice vinyl banner saying "Happy 40th Anniversary" from a web site for only $10. (no shipping or tax). Party favors: 10" wooden spoons decorated with lace and ribbon with 2 each Hershey's Kisses & Hugs in bowl of spoon wrapped up in netting. Attached is a card with this poem: A spoonful of Hugs, A spoonful of kisses, We've been 40 years as Mr. & Mrs.
