Our eldest son is giving the toast at our party and he would really appreciate some help. Our reply will be in the form of a poem. My husband is his step father and he has done so much for both boys since the eldest was 12 years old. It would be nice if it was light hearted and humerous but he does not know where to start. Also is it correct for my husband to finish off the reply with a toast to absent friends and family or should this be done seperately?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
