Regarding the public thank you, most papers
have a section in their classifieds...usually
called, "Announcements." There is a per word
or line by how many days it runs charge. They
are not free. If you have a neat picture, you
could submit a "press release" to the paper and
they might run it as a feature story. That
is no charge! Of course, you don't know if
the paper will choose to run it or not.
Hope your folks are also considering personal
notes or calls to the people who helped make
their day so special.
