HELP! I'm a guy that is not familiar at all with planning
cheesey stuff like this and need advice!

My parents mean a lot to me and I want to plan a small celebration at a
restaurant for just our immediate family and close friends (around 20 people in all)

any gift ideas?
I was thinking of having other friends (not as close) send in videotapes
with comments/stories to share to play after dinner.

there are 6 kids (i'm the oldest) and i thought we could all prepare
separate speeches to our parents, or work on one together?
