The scrapbook could also contain messages from friends and family about the couple. Such things as "I remember the time...." or any special memory about the couple. It's a way the couple can look back at events in their life that may be long forgotten and relive a happy time that someone was kind enough to remember. It could be something as simple as how nice they looked at a party, etc.
