The Video would be super, but they are very time consuming. There are companies who will do a very professional one for you.

Games are an option if your folks' crowd is accustomed to playing games. If not,, a trivia game or pencil and paper games on a placeemat at each place work well. I'm seein more and more Karioke at affairs like this too.
