my brother & his wife had a Hawaiian luau for their wedding reception, they had a hog roast done by a professional on an open spit (?), lots of tropical fruit, leis for everyone to wear, scalloped potatoes , chunks of fruit on fancy toothpicks, sweet N sour chicken was also a dish,
rice, etc...flowers were everywhere....it was really neat, servers wore grass skirts, wedding party changes to hawaiian garb, it was outside under a large tent. Can't remember everything as it was 10 yrs. ago, but definitely a neat way to go. Goodluck
