It is your party you may choose whatever colors you would like to accent with for Decorating.

Also, the time you have chosen 2:00 -4:00 is after lunch and before dinner, thererfore, your guests should not be expecting a meal. If the party was at 12, 5 or 6 then I would suggest serving more of a meal.

If you are concerned you may offer some lighter foods so guests will feel like they had something besides cake.
Things to take into consideration:
What day is the party a Saturday or Sunday?
Are any guests from out-of-town?
If you have out of town guests you may want to provide them with something to eat before they head back home. Afterall, they did come in for this special occasion and probably brought a gift.
How many people are you inviting
Suggestions; Veggie Tray, Fruit, Cheese & Crackers or Finger sandwiches, small pizza slices, or Wings
