I just wanted to say thank you first of all to all the wonderful people on this site. I got so many ideas from this site. Me and my 2 sisters had our parents surprise 50th wedding anniversary party on March 31,2001. We had it a local restaurant in one of their banquet rooms and it was perfect. Although I know many of you said that you shouldn't make it a surprise it turned out perfectly. Our parents had an idea that we were doing something for them so they were dressed appropriately for the occasion. We had a white limo come and pick them up and bring them to the restaurant, and just that alone had my mother crying like a baby!!! Once they arrived at the restaurant and saw the family and friends who were in attendance at the party, my mother just broke down in tears again!!! It was just so nice to see both our parents so happy on such a special occassion.
If we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing. Thanks to everyone again.
