My oldest sister and her husband will be celebrating their 50th in April. She still has everything they ever received as a couple. One of the things her friends put together for one of her showers was a sharing of guests' favorite recipes. Conversely, I thought it would be fun to have, as favors for Anniversary guests, copies of my sister/husband favorite recipes. I think it's a very personal, endearing favor. Centerpieces could include copies (Xerox) of photos of wedding, honeymoon or other family photos on those plastic "card" sticks that are stuck in floral arrangements. Their oldest daughter has asked me if we should do somethng for them, so we are just beginning to think about a celebration since their health hasn't been good lately. How did you start planning? I am not in the same state as they are and it's very difficult to get all of our family together. Where to start?
