I think that is a great idea. I am doing the same (25th Anniversary) for my parents in April. I was thinking of holding mine on the beach, since that is where they met and I was having a hard time figuring out how to finance this. A pot luck would be perfect. Instead of just a regular pot luck, suggest to the guests to bring a tropical dish. Good Luck! Let me know how it goes!
