This is what we're sending out for my in-laws 50th:

The year 2000 is a very special year for us. On July 1, our parents will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. We are putting together a book of life for them and would be honored to receive from you a card or letter or picture (if you have one tucked away somewhere) recounting a time you had with them. Please send them to our address below no later than May 1.

P.S. We hope to keep this book a surprise, so please help us keep this a secret.
