I am also planning a 30th Birthday, Hawaiian Luau. I was able to hire a local hula dancer for under $200 dollars. I bought many of the decorations at Party City, and even some items on line. I'm cooking most of the food myself and surfed the web for Hawaiian recipes. I went to a site called Diana's International Recipes. I also printed some Hawaiian phrases from the web and printed them on color paper to hang around. I went to Borders and bought 2 Hawaiian cds, one was Don Ho and the other was steel drums. I could use any more ideas, if you get some responses. Good luck!!!
