We did a Alice in wonderland party and here is what we did. For games we did Pin the grin on the Cheshire cat and a Mad hatter relay. We lined the kids up in teams of four and had dfferent hats in a box a short distance from each line.(we had 12 kids)My husband yelled go and the first child in each line raced to the box put on a hat, raced back, put the hat on the next player. the next player must then race to the box, pick out a new hat and race back. If the hat falls off along the way the player must go back to the box and pick out a new hat. The first team to finish wins the relay. We decorated the house with wrong way signs we made and signs that looked like the ones in the movie, along with pink flamingos and playing cards. The dining area was decorated like a big tea party, one of the treats was magic mushrooms made with marshmellows for the bottom and vanilla wafers for the tops (I made the tops stick with frosting), Mad Hatter tea ( apple juice, hot apple cider, or snapples)Individual pizzas shaped like kitty heads.(we had the kids do their own)and heart shaped sandwiches(I used a cookie cutter). I had the cake made at a bakery that did very creative decorating, they did Alice for me using a picture from a coloring book as a guide. For favors I used any thing along the tea party theme and a few licensed disney toys. The kids had a blast and so did my husband and I. I hope these ideas help. Also another great source of inspiration was Disneys party handbook.
