What about have them decorate a keepsake Easter egg out of scrap craft materials. It also would be a great take home treat! 5 year olds would probably LOVE to play toss the egg! I have seen these easter eggs that are white candy and look like a real egg. they come with candy paints and they kids decorate and then eat. I own a preschool and a mom brought these and it kept the kids entertained for a good 20 minutes... Hope these help!
