I just did a 50th for my parents also. I got together some old phots of my parents from birth on up and had them put on a VHS tape and showed it at the party, it was a hit!! I picked photos of people I knew would attend and everybody got a kick out of seeing themselves 15 to 20 years ago...We also had a family video edited with music and cut down to about 3 minutes. A surprise guest from out of town would be nice to. Have the guest either sing or say a few words from behind a wall or something then bring them out for your parents to see( be careful make sure mom and dad have had their heart medicine!!!!!
