Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary Party

My sister and I are giving my parents a party in honor of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. My parents are from a small, conservative town and the party will be held at their church.
We are look for ideas for the party, such as memory book items, ways to display old photographs, imaginative invitations, food, etc.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
