A Party411.com Corporate Event Theme Party

Ideas, Invitations, Party Supplies, Games and More For Your Corporate Event

Logo-opoly

Consider a Monopoly Logo-opoly themed party for your next corporate party. Great for a dinner dance, incentive reward dinner, or dinner/entertainment following a business meeting.

Invitations

Make invitations similar to Monopoly property cards and use the company’s logo as the property name. Provide the party information on the rest of the card. Or, make the invitation look like one of the Monopoly houses. Use the company’s logo on the front of the house and on the back place the party information.

Welcome Area

Greet guests with a cut out of Mr. Monopoly or a cutout of the boss dressed as Mr. Monopoly.  Create magic with balloon archways and lay down colorful floor tiles leading guests to the party. At the entrance, for added excitement hire a company to provide a Money Vault filled with coupons and dollar bills. As your guests enter they can step into a whirlwind of excitement as they try to grab prizes, just like when you pass “go” and collect $200.

Place a sign at the entrance welcoming guests to “XYZ Company/Organizations Logo-Opoly Extravaganza” and add in a few dollar signs next to the sign with a few balloons.

Décor

Cocktail area

The cocktail area should be decorated with oversized "property" or "trivia" cards, mirroring the property cards used in the Monopoly Game. Each oversized card should hang from the ceiling, and say: "This property mortgaged by (your company name)" along with dollar signs. Properties could include large buildings, malls, well-known facilities, etc. in your particular city.

If you didn’t want to use the name of properties, you could use tidbits of trivia about your company instead.

Centerpieces

Make centerpieces out of "Logo-opoly" boards (with your company logo, of course). Each "property" (i.e. Boardwalk, etc.) would be represented by a piece of trivia about your company. On top of each "board" could be a red hotel and green house constructed out of cardboard. Balloons, tied off with ribbon, should come out of the entire centerpiece.

Tabletop
"Chance" cards and "community chest" cards should be placed on the tables. Each card would have trivia and facts about your company, your company's history, and current information.
Confetti should be miniature dice and game pieces from Monopoly. Votive candles could also be shaped like dice.
Chocolates (one plate per table, served after dinner) would be chocolate dice, dollar signs and buildings.

Entertainment

There are two options here, both of which have been carried out with great success:

  1. Use a magician or emcee. Have this person stroll around during cocktails and dinner, engaging your guests in "talk" and/or "trivia" about your company. This person could then also present a 45-minute stage show that would star your company’s top executives, or important guests (depending on your program).

  2. Employ an improvisational group. Throughout the evening, this group would perform interactively with your guests.

With the help of your corporate communications department, or a party planner, scripts can be targeted to the event occasion, your business and/or the guests in the room.

Favors

Monopoly of course! Give out the game to each of your guests and place your logo on the cover using a huge sticker. Another option is a
personalized candy bars with your company’s logo on it - absolutely perfect.
