Auction Committee (Live And/Or Silent)

Responsibilities:

1. Solicit donations for oral auction, which includes minimum 10-12 auction packages;
    
2. Solicit donations for silent auction;
    
3. Secure an auctioneer for live auction;
    
4. Work with decorations committee on set up/display of silent auction;
    
5. Organize both auctions for efficient processing on the night of the event;
    
6. Obtain temporary accounts from credit card companies;
    
7. Organize the packages and silent auction for easy publication in an auction hand-out;
    
8. Decide minimum bids for both auctions;
    
9. Assign volunteer jobs (cashier, spotters, runners, etc.)
