"Step Out"
for Our New Arrival
A Baby Shower!
Whether
you are hosting it for "just the girls" or you want to make it a couples
showerthis theme works.
- Invitation: What's a more natural combination that babies and candy! Use one of our
Custom
candy bar wrappers as an invitation to your party. It's a special way to announce this special event.
- Sign-In Board: Take this invitation
and blow it up to poster size for all to sign. Just place it on an easel at the entrance
to the room, and tie off a pen with curling ribbon. Add a balloon bouquet (primary colors
to match the invite) to bring attention to it, and youre all set. It will not only
serve as a piece of memorabilia but also as a festive welcome sign.
- Centerpieces: Go simple with
balloons in primary colors (again to match the invitationor pink for girls/blue for
boys) with mylar weights (should cost $10-$15 from your local balloon company). To stylize
the centerpiece, blow up the invitation at your local printer (in color), cut out the
shoes and tie them off the center of the bouquet.
A little less traditional and more fun would
centerpieces that are balloon pacifiers. Any local balloon company can do this for you;
these are fabulous and your guests will marvel at how creative you are.
- Tabletop: Your local candy store is
filled with items to use on the table. Pastel non-pareils work (they come in white
chocolate accented in both pink and blue), so you might want to use them as confetti.
You may also want to scatter a bit of mylar confetti
(baby booties and pacifiers are popular) in the color of your choice.
A plate (or two) of candy on each table is also very
nice; white-chocolate covered pretzels drizzled with pink and blue make a great
presentation (and they taste good, too). There are also chocolate rattles and other
"baby" items you may want to scatter about.
- Other accoutrements: Single-use
cameras on each table are available with a baby theme (they also come in pink and blue).
They not only make it fun for those attending, but you end up with a lot of entertaining
candid shots (and you didnt even have to worry about the expense of a photographer).
Another great item are bubblegum cigars. Wrap one in
each napkin (they come in pink and blue) for a fun party favor. Tie the napkin off with
blue and/or pink curling ribbon.
- Activities: You'll want to order our PACIFY THE BABY Game. It's great fun and adds
something different to the party. What to use for prizes??! Chocolate pacifiers,
baby shower fortune cookies and other inexpensive items.
Dont forget to decorate the gift table. And if you are having a cake (which is
always nice), you will need to decorate a table for that as well.
Dont forget flowers and guest towels for the ladies room!
